Right Ive nearly finished a 3 part epic throwaway and fun days montage, so before that graces my blog I thought I'd make a short post with some pics from my phone. I have many more which will be later posts but can't be arsed to post them all now so enjoy these little gems!

First off we have Justin Eldridge performing a textboook bs Noseblunt on the hubba at 5 Bridges. Alot of the Es team were passing through and many hammers were put down, Not only was this bolts but he went on to do a perfect sw fs Bluntslide. The man was a beast and also quite friendly

And secondly we have a truly epic burger from the American diner. I double cheeseburger with bacon (I think?) and a mega onion ring! Add on top of this chips, salad (Ha) and coleslaw and you quite the meal! I thought it needed a bit of something extra so added loads maple syrup and some mayonnaise; this added the needed moisture for such a meaty dish. I won't lie the burgers weren't off the best quality but for the price and quantity you can't complain!

Early birthday meal.

Right my birthday is next week; the 7th so feel free to shower me in gifts. This post is all about food with no skating so beware!
My brother has been up for a bit for my dad's belated birthday meal so my mum thought we might aswell go for a meal while he was around as it was my birthday soon. I'm not complaining loads of lush meals in a short space of time is good for this asian.
So my rents, brother, Nicola and myself proceeded to hit up a meal. The venue of choice was 'Jesmond Dene house', Jackie keeps raving about this place so it was time to see what all the fuss was about.

For my starter I went for the foie gras terrine. Foie gras is the liver of a duck/goose which has been fattened through force feeding. Apparently outside France it is occasionally done through natural feeding. This was extremely tasty so I hope this duck was force fed, I swear the tears of the duck made this taste better.

For the main I again opted for a cruel but tasty meal, this time in was veal (Baby cows) with sun dried tomato's and I think a potato rosti. This was lovely, the meat was so soft it practically melted in your mouth.

For desert I went for a chocolate sphere, which was a chocolate sphere which contained a shortbread style biscuit, almond icecream and caramel sauce, What was quite cool was that they poured hot chocolate sauce over it which melted the top of the chocolate sphere which revealed the tasty insides. Verdict death by chocolate.

My mum took a cheeky picture of my brothers desert as she thought it deserved a photo, that said it did look very nice. not 100 per cent sure what it was, though it had a mini chocolate fondent cake, what looks like chocolate icecream and other tasty things on. My bro was pretty stoked afterwards so it must have been nice!

So there you go, much fun was had and much food was eaten. Now remember the 7th of July as its the day you all buy me loads of food/presents, goodbye and goodnight!

London trip.

Right this is going to be a long one so get comfy.

Its coming to the last few months of filming for my new vid 'Pigs in Wigs', therefore we decided to hit up London for whistle stop filming trip.

The crew down was Matty

Johnny

Jake and myself.

We were hooking up Mellon, Adairsy and James Rooney once we hit London aswell as hopefully Stu Fone and Dirty Dave Vise.

It was a fairly chilled drive down and once Johnny and Jack had got the tube to Mellon and James me and matty went to my bro's and got some cheeky takeaway.

After some sleep we all meet up at Mellon's local spot at Elephant and Castle.
Jamie got his Nose manny on.

We also hooked up with Jack and James who was sporting his new heroin 'chic' look, he's so hot right now.

We skated much of the day with Mellon's mate Nick, he's a good bloke but for some reason I didn't get a photo of him, anyway here's a pic of me getting ready to film him doing a 'mad stunt'

After filming a few lines we decided to hit up one of Mellon's favorite spots which is Kennington Bowls. It seems like some strange 70's throwback spot, but it was nice for a chill session and also to meet up with big Stu fone!

After this we took a stroll to possibly one the hardest hips to skate Ive ever been to. Not much went down bar a few games of skate and some sunbathing.

Next spot was somewhere Stu had spied from the bus, it sounded good so we decided to have a gander. It was a metal up ledge which was a lot harder to skate than it looked.
Jamie was over the spot so he got his hydration on.

MVP of the tour Johnny couldn't stop ripping and got more stuff filmed.

Next spot was London Bridge as it was just round the corner. This hands down has to be one of the dirtiest skate parks ever, if the black plague was to ever raise its disease ridden head again am pretty sure it would start here. Anyway lots of stuff got filmed, but here's a pic of Mellon doing a footplant dog piss methinks, one way or another I should have probably taken the photo from the side to give it full justice. But they don't call me slack for nothing.

So last spot of the day was Mudchute skate park, its super mellow and chilled perfect way to end the session. We also got to have a cheeky little skate with Dave and Jack some of London Tom's mates.

Dave specifically wanted a picture wearing one of London Tom's hats.

After a long day's skate we all did different thing s for dinner. Mellon and Johnny went back to his for pizza, Jack went to James, Stu went home, Dave and Jack went to skate Mile end for a bit while myself, Jamie and Matty went to meet my bro and mate Adam for some food at Gourmet Burger Kitchen, BOOYA!

We meet my bro and Adam at Canary Wharf after I did a cheeky trick for Matty's montage on a ledge under the DLR station.

So onto the important part of the day, the food, as readers of my blog know I like my food and after only having a wagon wheel all day I was famished. I decided to go for my usual of a 'Kiwi' burger without beetroot. This entailed, a burger, egg, cheese, tomato, lettuce, pineapple, mayo and tomato relish. This was then finished off with chips and garlic dip, a diet coke and then a massive chocolate milkshake. I nearly gave my food a round of applause it was that good. I didn't because I think people may have thought I was slightly strange.

After that Jamie went back to Mellon's while me and Matty skated at East India so Adam could take some photo's.
The next we again met up at Elephant and Castle to skate the monument Chewy Cannon does his ender on in the new Blueprint video. Unfortunately some drunk tramps were having a 'Urban' garden party and seemed quite merry so we didn't want to intrude.
On the way to tube we spotted this bank which Mellon wanted to drop in on, he was over it as it was the first spot of the day but Adair craving the footy stood up and quelled the beast.

We opted for the bus instead of the Tube.

And then decided on hitting up Shoreditch ledges, its a spot in the middle of a park with one marble ledge and one rough ledge with angle iron on one side. Think theledges were put there to skate, its been in loads of vids. It was very hot but luckily there was an ice cream van which Mellon got involved with.

Jamie decided to step up and film a line for the vid, having already half snapped his deck at the first spot of the trip he proceeded to nearly fully snap it filming the line. He powered through even though one of the trick involved being over both snaps! Bonus points for commitment!

After this we meet up with Jack and James (Then later Dave and his crew) at Mile End. This park is really good but can sometimes be too smooth, as Geoff would say 'No time for slipping'.

Tricks were filmed but the highlight of the session has to be the random dog wandering round the park. we thought it belonged to some Eastern European guys who came to the park to exchange in the most unsubtle drug deal ever. But once they had got their weed and left the dog stayed. At first it was mellow but it went on to regurgitate on the floor and kept chasing people who were skating trying to bite their decks. Someone finally got it out of the park and closed the gate, then somehow Jamie managed to let it back in!

After this we decided to hit the final two spots of the day, East India ledges and an up edge near by. Jamie went to Mellon's to get his stuff while we all skated (Bar Dave's crew). East India is right next to my bro's so is pretty handy.

Didn't get too long before security gave us the boot, but it was ok as we just went and skated the up ledge. Matty was trying this front nose 360 out which he didn't manage to land but again Johnny managed to get some stuff filmed.

Before we left to meet Jamie and depart there was just time for Jack to find this diary on the side of the motorway from 2006, apparently Denise is a cunt.

And so our London trip was over and we made our trip home replacing Jack with Adair as Jack decided to stay in London with James for longer. All was left was a trip home and Jamie spitting out his water in hysterics remembering Adam Thirtle shouting 'American Diner' while passing one in the car on a recent trip to redcar.

Should hopefully have edited the London montage (With some added skating from the Toon) by early next week. Will post it on here as soon as it's done, goodbye and goodnight!

Mega sunday update!

Reet, this was meant for the 'Skate Newcastle' blog but for some reason it won't work on it, so decided to put it here.

We started the day like our friends across the pond in the US with some dirty chicken!

As usual the first spot of the day was the wasteland where 'The count' and Carmine were throwing down some stunts on their wheelie bikes.

The wind proved to be to be far too annoying so we decided to hit up town, but not before we reverted to kids and threw big rocks into big puddles.

On the way back Adam got his special bar to the top and landed the first of many gnarly drop in's. All while belting out the latest HIM song.

Northumberland street was crawling (excuse the pun) with people trying to get people to have chlamydia tests.

Joe wasn't convinced even after some free pants were thrown in to 'sweeten' the deal. The pants even came with a pocket for condoms! Who keeps condoms in their boxers?!

Next on our little tour of town was a visit to Matty Smith on his last shift in Office, he was stoked.

At this point the rain decided to descend so it was decided a trip to American Diner was needed.

Milkshakes and food were consumed but I opted for pancakes, sausages, bacon and maple syrup. The results as usual were glorious.

Tom Fone wasn't feeling the 'Diner' so went to subway instead, this didn't stop him getting involved with a cheeky coffee though!

Joe was filming with the camera which I sold to him years ago, alot of 'Bishcam' was filmed on that old war horse!

Anyway on the way out we ran into these cheeky little fellows hiding from the rain.

Since the rain had stopped and it was drying up we decided to keep the fire burning and keep skating. Joe and Adam found this block in a skip while looking for 'Jazz' mags.

Weeman proceeded to drop that shit. Wee was over HIM so he just sang the latest D12 joint , apparently its 'ill'.

Seeing this Adam feared his drop in throne would be usurped so he threw down the horns of Satan.

Having the gained the power from the Father of lies he did a drop in worthy of even Blahbag himself.

Tom Fone felt a bit left out, so he tried some Indiana Jones style tight roping across a chain. A small Indian man looking out of door looked stoked unfortunately for Tom none of us were.

Continuing his wanton destruction of Newcastle's skate spots Adam decided to film a line for Joe; I was there to capture it mid action.

So another day drew to a close for me and the only thing left for me to do was to blog this sign.

I havn't had the net for while as I havn't paid my phone bill, but back the rents for the night so thought I'd take advantage of some cybertime. Below are 4 sections which to get me stoked and if you havn't seen them I think you should have a watch.
Every once in while gonna post 4 sections that I used to like but won't bore you with them every week.

So to start with with have a montage from Transworld's 'Sight Unseen'. I watched this video (And Unabomber's 'Headcleaner') 8 times a day for 2 weeks when I was in India in 2001 as I couldn't skate over there and back then I used to want to skate 24/7. Mint song choice and the usual quality skating you can expect from Transworld.

Then we have Mike Manzoori's section from a British video called 'Hating life'. This was the first video I actually paid money for and I have to say all the sections were amazing. I stupidly sold this video along with most of my skate vhs's when I had no money. If you get a chance watch it because this is the only section on the net; Rodney Clarke also had a banger of a section.

Next we have the trailer for Viewfinder 3, I put the trailer up because I couldn't find any of the best sections on the night and the trailer sorta gives you the feel of the video, staright up funny grimey british skateboarding. Loved this so much especially some of the song choices. Plus it was like 2 hours long and back then when you didn't really have videos on the net (Or conections strong enough to watch them!) and the fact not that many videos were coming out, I loved seeing as much skating possible, bad or good!

The final video down memory lane is Heath Kirchart and Jermery Klein's section from Birdhouse's 'The End' (Original music). This was such I sick part, it had everything I wanted when I was younger, fire, skating, comedy and people in suits. To be honest I still want all that now. The fact that they were grinding buildings and bus stops blew me away! This resulted in me dressing in a cheap and boardsliding... benches! Below is me peforming such a stunt.

I loved this section.

Hopefully I'll have the net again soon so I can blog a bit more than once every 2 weeks!

Vegas DIBS!

Right been back from Vegas for about a week so I think its time to update the blog. As you might have guessed it's no longer 'Bangers' and 'Mash', this is because people kept complaining all I blogged about was food. Well don't worry though its gone I will still have some tasty pictures of food, but not just said pictures!

Ok, so I just got back from Vegas with the crew of Big Neill (The organiser of the trip).

Jackie, who was having his first holiday in about 4 years!

Richy, thrash master extraordinaire.

And of course me!

So after being on a flight with about 6 stag parties we arrived in Las Vegas only to be kept on the air strip for an hour as President Obama was landing at the airport aswell! Anyway we finally got off the plane and made our way onwards!

So Neill had booked us into a Planet Hollywood suite and ever suite is furnished with memorabilia from famous films, we were hoping on the Bruce Willis suite, or maybe the Arnie one. We got the Star Trek suite... That said it was geeky but RAD! The room was insane, 2 bedrooms with 3 double beds, 3 bathrooms, a hot tub connecting the sitting room to the master bathroom, a 50ish inch plasma screen and a massive panoramic window view, straight west coast'n!

We hit the club hard on the first night, after finding an energy drink called AMP to power us through our jetlag. Let me tell this drink is fucking mental and will send you crazy as Neill found out on the last night... So we all hit the sack at about 6ish in the morn, I awoke to find Jackie standing next to me asking if I knew where Richy was as he hadn't slept in his bed last night. After a quick look around he was no where to be found so we left him a note and went down to the breakfast buffet.

And who did we find gambling with a drink in hand at 10 in the morn? Richy, still mortal asking us whether it was morning yet. We informed him it was and he proceeded to go to bed, this was his position for about 12 hours.

So we went and hit my most anticipated part of Vegas, the buffets! 14 dollars all you could eat and did I eat! In 2 plates I had sausages, scrambled eggs, steak, eggs Benedict, hamburger meat, breakfast biscuits (like scones) all covered in some creamy white sauce, BOOYA!

While Richy slept, we hit up what Vegas had to offer in the day, this consisted of gambling.

Big buildings.

Asian men claiming to be the only ones playing guitar in the whole of the US.

And Fat people, there were so many fat people that we invented a game called dibs. Every time you see a really fat person you have to shout Dibs and take a sly photo. Immature? Yes. Fun? Most definitely. Here are a few of the best Dibs.

We wandered for a few hours and then went back to the suite to freshen up, Neill decided to take a bath while watching the tv.

Before we went out that night we decided to hit up a 28inch pizza which was pretty damn tasty!

After another night of getting to bed when it was light and getting up after about an hours sleep we decided to have another good wander around Vegas.

We found some Broon!

So before getting mortal on our last night we decided to hit up a posh meal. The venue of choice was a steakhouse and let me tell you it was amazing! Jackie and Neill went for various steaks while myself and Richy went for Steak and Lobster, surf and turf style! Add to this the various sides and you have a top notch meal!

To finish Richy and Jackie decided to get 2 pieces which were meant to serve roughly 4 people...

So arrived our final afternoon which started with me taking a few arty photo's in the room

We then headed out to waste some time before the plane.
Neill found his perfect drink.

Richy had an intense hotdog and chips.

We saw the fountains at the Bellagio.

And finally some more fat people.

We then made our way back to the airport where everyone looked tried from the holidays fun and frolics.

All that was left was a quick munch at Heathrow and then back home!

All about Joe.

Instead of the regular 'Bangers and Mash' we have a special post today, read below to find out...

Basically Joe is my new flatmate, and behind his image of an angry grumpy man lies a very VERY strange person. So after Mellon day I bring you the the strange world of Joe Hodgkiss.

While wandering the flat thinking about fanny Joe sometimes likes to work out, instead of using weights like a normal man Joe likes to use people of colour. As his usual partner of Will Smith wasn't about he decided to use my arm to do his chin ups.

As he's all about the fanny he demanded an arm wrestle to decide whether he should be allowed to make a move on Nicola.

Joe won like Rocky in Rocky, Rocky 2,3,4 and 5, and obviously impressed with his shear magnificence Nicola accepted his advances.

After having his way with my girlfriend Joe decided to pose for the new apple Ipod adverts, critic's have called it "inspirational".

What followed was a series of high level phone calls, which resulted in Joe being recruited as a Tory marketing campaigner.

After a few hours of hard work, Joe had produced an advert which Tory leaders have claimed is "almost as groundbreaking as the 'On the Buses'".

What does the future hold for Joe, who knows, but you better believe that he's in it for the fanny, BELIEVE.

Mellon day.

Right so before Mellon goes back to London Ive decided to dedicate a post and day to him rather than a regular 'Bangers' and 'Mash' update.
This post documents an estimated 24 hours in the life of Mellon and me.

We started our adventure after having a lovely meal provided by Mellon's mum and dad, unfortunatly I didn't have a camera to blog the meal, but let me tell you it was lovely! Anyway we ventured into town to try and find somewhere to skate untouched by snow or water.
Mellon said he knew a undercover ledge next to Burger King so we decided to go check it out. We found a nice little ledge but a tramp was asleep next to it and we didn't want to wake him up so we decided to make a move.

So we decided to hit up the classic spot of smooth tunnel, after an epic game of S.K.A.T.E security came and spoiled our fun and kicked us out. We offered them some saucy delights if they let us stay but they said they didn't like diabetic's or asian's with bags (They were cool with a whitey having a bag or just an asian just not both combined).

We decided to go back to the flat to have a cuddle and kill some zombies on 'Left 4 dead'. After ruling the game with iron fists Mellon went home on the promise to return the following day for American Diner fun (In reality we went the day after that, but that would ruin the 24 hour theme, so go with it).

And so to the next part of Mellon day... Food times! We rounded up a crew consisting of Mellon, Nicola, Tom, Hopper and me and made our way to the Diner.

Tom had already eaten so he went for a casual Hot chocolate and some pancakes.

Mellon being the world's worst diabetic got pancakes for a starter, a cheese hound (hotdog) for a main and then a banana split sundae for pudding! How this man still his limbs is beyond me! Anyway only managed to snap the starter and the pudding so take a gander!

Nicola went for a chicken burger and then shared a tall stack (4) of pancakes/maple syrup and banana with me. I fucked the photo of the burger up but take a look at the pancakes. Ive got to say they were delicious!

I opted for a pancakes starter and then a hen breakfast, which had sausages, an egg, fried toast, beans and bacon, not gonna lie but it wasn't up to the usual standard of American diner though it was still tasty.

After the fun and frolics of the Diner we decided to rearrange my sitting room, as I thought it was time for a change.

Mellon brim full of ideas created DVD corner, here he is trying to decide whether to watch '5 on 1' or '7 the hard way'.

So at the end of Mellon day we had a lovely new sitting room set up, hooray!

Joe couldn't handle just how amazing it was.

Been pretty busy so haven't had the time to get my blog on, finish alot of my stuff by the end of the week so will do a mega blog then; so until that point you'll have to make do with a micro update!
So I'm giving you one 'Bangers' and one 'Mash'!

For 'Bangers' there is an old edit I found on my hardrive. Its of all the OG haymarket skaters. Can you spot a very young dannyboy?!

And for 'Mash' we have a cheeky pasta dish I cooked up. I lightly fried a mixture of caramelised onions, tomato's and spinach which I then added to a selection of meats and pasta. Rounded it off with some lovely grated cheese, bellissimo!

Righto time for another enjoyable 'Bangers' and 'Mash'!

I'll start with 'Mash' as were going Transatlantic this week!
My bro is over in America for work and he's sent a few pics of his supersized American meals over.

Below we have a whole Lobster stuffed with crab and a 300g fillet steak, BIG PIMPING!

Then we have a 24 ounce (I think) steak, with a fork to show size!

And finally we have a full sunday roast provided by Nicola's kind mum. We have Yorkshire puddings, beef, cabbage, mash potato and I think turnip (There was also gravy for some splash). It was really good and perfect for a cold sunday night!

Right now onto 'Bangers'!

Doing a documentary for my MA course and got to borrow some of the uni equipment which banging!

Even managed to wangle filming on the Swallow hotel roof!

Before I took the camera back I thought I might aswell film some skating aswell! So went out with Matty Smith and Ben LDL. We went to this sketchy glass ridden spot and tried to get our fully flared on! Here's Ben warming up by dropping in off a metal bollard with the help of Matty.

As usual Matty took some harsh slams while trying to film a trick.

Bish and Matty's trip to London.

Last week me and Matty made a very brief trip to London to have a meeting for some filming we are doing with Gumtree. We decided to drive down on Thursday morning, have the meeting then go to my bro's flat have a bit of a skate then travel back the next day after maybe a cheeky morning skate.

For 'Bangers' we have a storyboard of our trip to London.

First off we have some cooling towers near Sheffield, as a kid I used to think these were nuclear factories and I used to be scared to drive past them.

Here we have Matty driving us past Big Ben, it took us about 1 hour and a half to get 10 miles. We were informed the traffic was so bad because much of central London was blocked off because of Nick Griffin appearing on Question Time. Apparently not only do the BNP hate people of my colour but they also like to test my bladder control as I was very close to pissing myself and it was a race to the toliet once we got to my bro's!

My Bro lives near Canary Wharf and we decided to go get some food later on with Adam and my bro, Matty was blown away by the amount of shiny building Canary Wharf has to offer.

On the way back we got stuck in alot of traffic, luckily I was on hand with witty conversation and Matty dad had left a wide selection of cd's to listen too. My personal faves were the Beautiful South and Robert Palmer.

Well this week we have a London edition of 'Mash', and it comes in burger form!
Basically since our meeting me, Matty and Adam had been talking about going to Gourmet Burger Kitchen for some top notch burger action. My bro wasn't that down but we managed to convince him. We have a breaking 'Bangers' and Mash' news update! Lets go straight to 'Bangers' for the info!

I got a text last night off Laura with a picture showing this.

The Doctors verdict was that he was keeping it so real that his body just couldn't take it.

On a less exciting note, here's where I will be buying a fixie if I ever decide to take up the sport of looking cool on a bike.

Seems like my sort of place.

Right and now onto the ever reliable 'Mash'.
Made a stop at the classic American Diner last week, haven't been in quite a while, lets just say its good to be home. For my meal I went for the Chilli beef Burrito covered with cheese and with a side of giant onion rings, it was the just the plate of grease that I needed!

Second off we have something which I ate at home. I didn't cook it but instead splashed out at Marks and Spencer's for some classy food. I ended up getting a sort of Coquille St Jacques scallops dish, which was scallops in the shell covered in a creamy white wine sauce mashed potato's and parmesan cheese. It was a creamy delight which went down a treat!

Right am back for another exciting bout of 'Bangers' and 'Mash'.

We'll start off with 'Mash' and let me tell you the meal below was an absolute gem. About a month ago I went to 'Barn Asia' with my mum and dad as we'd heard some pretty good reviews of it, and those reviews weren't wrong!
I started with scallops and prok in a peanut and caramel sauce with a little bit of rice on the side. At first I thought it would be too sweet but the sauce perfectly complemented the scallops and pork, AMAZING.

For the main I went for a french/asain dish. It was slices of beef steak in a jasmine/saffron style sauce with loads of veg and a baguette too mop up the liquidy sauce. It a really nice main and felt very light and healthy, goodtimes.

For pudding I went for a classic chocolate cake with sides of icecream and a little bowl of crunchy toffee flakes, the presentation was really good and the crunchy toffee flakes were really nice with the cake and icecream.

Right now onto 'Bangers'. No skateboarding this time, but to replace it we have an appearance from some of Newcastle's most famous skateboard slackers.
First off we have Paul Morris, the man famous for of the nicest Bs Flips this side of Adrian Lopez. I caught up with this crazy cat in Bulletproof where he was being really Mod, I gave him a kiss, he seemed stoked.

And finally making his first appearance on my blog is Joe Hodgkiss. joe is my new flatmate and he's quoted as saying 'Living with Bish is like living with one my hero's'. He has a lovely nollie heel and he's just started getting back into skating, he is is training on our rowing machine.

London and Manchester roadtrips!

Right Ive been away the last week and a half keeping it real in different cities. Spent a week down in London so I could go to a meeting,flip premiere get drunk and skate with Mellon and co.

Then me and Mellon megabused it too Manchester to meet up with Kurt and Londontom to skate and party!

Thankfully Sam and his flatmates put us up in there lovely house.

So I will start with 'bangers' for this update as it's full of them!
First we have these 2 bling vehicles I saw while roaming the warm streets of the 'Big Smoke'. I have no idea what they are but they looked nice.

Me and Mellon also caught up with London's number one ginger, Stu Fone at Mile End.

When me and Mellon first got to Manchester we had to meet up with Sam near his house, so we got the bus to where we thought we were meant to meet. After some phone miss communication me and Mellon then ended up walking 20 minutes in the wrong direction from there in the pissing down rain. After finding this out we then had to walk all the way back. This is me during the journey carrying my camera bag, supplies bag and skateboard... Stoked.

When Londontom comes traveling he only travels in the most Victorian style, dinky suitcase and bottle scotch included.

Sam was sporting a fairly jewish T-shirt.

After a night of party Kurt decided to throw down a playpark inspired drop in.

And just before we left Kurt and Londontom decided to pose in front of this gnarly crab.

Don't have too much for 'mash' for this update as I didn't end up taking that many pictures of my meals as my phone kept dieing! Only have one meal from the whole time but Ive put another picture from another meal from before my adventures.

Soooo for the my one and only picture of food goodness from London is a lovely fish platter from a place called 'Browns'. It had on it salmon, creamed salmon, creamed crab, squid, bread, fish sauce and I think some other fish!

Then from before my trip I went for a meal with Nicola to Nudo and I ended up having a a cheeky duck noodle dish that was LUSH and wasn't that expensive so all in all in was a good deal!

Two events two times the fun!

So in the last week we have 2 epic events in Newcastle, so am gonna give this update up to 'Bangers' alone because they were that good.

So to start us off we had King of the Howman, this year there were only 2 teams as people were slack for various reasons. This wasn't a problem as it turned into a battle of epic proportions between the 'empty life'/'deekies' crew and 'team part again' crew!

This is how our weekend went down.

we went around in a crew of 4 cars.

We hung out with Kurt's dog.

We hit up two 30 inch pizza's.

We partied V.I.P style in digital thanks to Big Neill.

Then we went home.

So onto this weekends event. Dave being the OG that he is decided that it was time the wasteland deserved a proper competition/jam so he went out of his way to organise and set up an all day event. Prizes were kindly donated by Jackie from Native. Below is some of the day (For pictures of tricks rather than people refer to the 'deekies' or another of the local blogs).

Myself, Dave and Bingo were given judging duties (Jackie provided the commentary).

A tent was put up for the judges and refreshments. Water from Ian and coutersy of Tom Kirkby and Redbull we got about 4 crates of Redbull.

The event ended with a prize giving and a product toss!

All in all a good two weekends were had! Right so we will be back to the normal 'Bangers' and 'Mash' service next week, but to wet your appetite for the upcoming 'Mash' check out one of the puddings I had the other day at this restaurant. Poached strawberry and brioche trifle with sprinkles of crunchy honeycombs, and check out the rad jar it came in!

'Bangers' and 'Mash' coming at ya live and uncut!

So we'll start with 'Mash'!

Hit up the Salsa club with Jackie, Laura, Kate and Alan and we decided to hit that shit hard! Basically we got 12 Tapas dishes, loaded Nacho's, potato wedges with dip and then a jug of Sangria! I would go into the specific Tapas dishes but there are far too many!

Then went back to Jackie's where he served a cheeky desert of chocolate tart, soya vanilla icecream and strawberries, oh yeah!

Went to Shakeaholic got a milkshake and chilled with Mrs Shakeaholic.

Also Tom Fone had birthday shindig happened last friday and was also a sort of moving in party from Steff, she put on a pretty sick spread to celebrate. My personal fav was the homemade sausage rolls!

Went for a cheeky meal at the Black door next to the biscuit factory yesterday but will save that blog for the weekend!

Right so onto 'Mash'!

First off while searching for a birthday card for Tom I came upon a 3D cat card, check that out and chill!

Carmine hooked up with us at the park and threw down some gang sign steez.

Welcome to another exciting episode of 'Bangers' and 'Mash'! First off we have 'Bangers'!
So we went to Durham today to discover new spots and take in the sun. Well what we discovered was that there are about 4 spots and you get kicked out of them within 10 minutes, and if your asian they want to know why your filming near government buildings! We even got kicked out of one spot by a talking video camera warning us of £100 fines.
So after a bit of a fruitless we went to Coxhoe skate park nearby which actually turned into a bit of a session.

We were joined at the session by Andrew Snowball and his crew who were ripping rural style! We left after a good day to chill and eat, montage is coming very soon.

Another borderline exciting thing that happened this week was my big turn at modeling T-shirts for native. Obviously I got the chance because of my searing good looks and melt in the mouth skin colour... Or maybe just because I would be the only one who do it for cheap/free. Either way being the sad case I am it stoked me out, so off I went to meet Jackie and Hman at Jackie's pad for a 'photoshoot'.

Basically Jackie was over it the minute I stepped through the door.

Hman hooked Jackie up with the technical knowledge.

Right now onto 'Mash'!

Basically Ive not had any really exciting food this week as Ive been trying to eat a bit more healthy, so what you see below is a few dishes which weren't blogged in later posts.

First we have a dish which Matty Smith gobbled down in American Diner while I had a haircut next door. A nice stack of pancakes with vanilla icecream, berries and chocolate sauce! After having a bite am gonna have to say it was a sublime choice!

Second we have Mellon and James Rooney dishes from the last time we were at American Diner. James went with the controversial cheeseburger topped with olives. Rooney was stoked on this shit!

While Mellon went for bacon big boy hotdog, which was a hotdog with bacon on top. Mellon said it was nice but could have done with some cheese.

Right update time! As people have been complaining that I don't have anything but food in my blog we will start with 'Bangers'!

Here we have Matty Smith in full orange get up for his starring role in 'Orange Wednesdays'

On sunday we skated the college in the lovely warmth as only Londontom can he made a spot out of just some wood, a pallet and pure passion. Peep Pig's in Wigs for the banger which he laid into the bank.

We had a bit of a boozy session over the weekend, and Jamie Adair and James Rooney decided to turn into Sergeant Sicky and Captain Pisspants. Basically Jamie puked all over Mellon's room and Rooney got lost and woke up covered in piss... The photos below show the two culprits in the morning, Jamie attempting the clean up and Jamie's being informed that a lady likes him.

Right and now onto 'Mash'

I'll start off first with American Diner.

Ive been twice recently the first was a week or so ago with Maz and the decision was made to share two types of Hotdogs to get the full experience. So we got one Cheesedog and one chillidog, both were lovely but I think the chilli dog could have done with some cheese aswell.

The second was with Sam our weekend guest and a few other people, because I can't be arsed to post all the photos, I'll just post my food and Sam's.
I went for the classic Cheesedog, while Sam went for the epic double cheeseburger and it was intense!

And finally in my food adventures of the week I went to Red Mezza yesterday with my mum and dad. This is a Turkish cafe right next to my flat and I thought we should check it out!

I'm gonna have to say its really tasty and not that expensive, I'd recommend it to everyone!

So we decided to share some starters between us, and we went for a dish of grilled liver (Which was some of the best liver I've ever had!), Humus, and then stuffed vine leaves. It was a perfect starter.

So onto the main meal!

My mum went for a grilled chicken dish with rice which looked pretty damn tasty but I think it could have done with some sauce.

My dad went for the classic king prawns in garlic sauce with a bit of rice which he said was nice.

And finally I went for a seafood dish which had swordfish, king prawns, prawns and mussels covered in a tomato and garlic sauce, with a side dish of rice. It was very good and it even filled me up so much I couldn't finish it which is rare for me!

Well welcome to another edition of Bangers and Mash!

We'll start with Mash as that has the most info as usual.

My mum and dad took me for a belated birthday meal the other week and the venue which was chosen was Cafe Royal near the Grainger Market (Also the work place of Matty Smith).

I decided for my meal I'd go for the venison with creamy mash, veg and bacon. I had it medium rare and it was lovely tender!

My mum went for the chicken sandwich which was bloody huge, it had many things of goodness inside, plus she couldn't finish it so I got to have some of it, RESULT!

My dad went with the classic steak and chips and he wasn't too pleased on having to wait for me to take a photo of his meal before he could start eating!

All in all another top notch family meal!

Some time in the next week or so a few of us went to American diner, alas my phone died so I only got the chance to take pictures of my meal, but hopefully you'll enjoy!

I started with the Reise's milkshake.

My main was a little controversial but I thought it was very tasty. I had the super stack of 6 pancakes covered in maple syrup, 2 sausages and then a scoop of chocolate icecream! It was lush but as I was a little hungover I had to share some of it!

Then last weekend I made a epic journey down to Bournemouth for a family friends 60th birthday meal.
After a quick wash after a near 7 hour train journey we went to the restaurant.
I started with the scallops with pancetta covered in a cream sauce. It was lovely but I wish I had got a larger starter!

My starter may have been small but goddamn my main made up for it! I got a massive piece of belly pork with crackling on a bed of creamy champ mash in a rich gravy. It was very good!

We all had the same desert as we had a fruit pavlova which had a nice variety of fruits involved. It was a refreshing end to the meal, job done!

Right its time for a bit of an insane update! The amount of amazing food that has gone down recently has meant that food itself will take pride as being BOTH the bangers and mash today! Enjoy!

First we have Mash, and its a good'un!

The sat before last I went out for Lauren's birthday meal and it was in the tasty El Coto (Which I had only just had a tasty meal in a few days before). It was a big group so we went for the set tapas menu for everyone to share which worked out a treat.
For starters we had bread olives and mayo dip which I didn't bother blogging but for main we had a nice selection of:

Beef stew

A cheeky chicken and tomato dish

Chilli garlic prawns

Meatballs

Chorizo sausage

Squid rings with mayo dip

Then finally a rice dish with chorizo sausage and chicken incorporated in it.

After the epicness of that meal I was in for another treat when Rachael took me for lunch as she couldn't make my birthday night out! We attended the Salsa club and I got involved with a chicken club sandwich with salsa, tomato nachos and various other good things inside!

As people might know we were on a mini skate/party/job interview trip down to London last weekend. Well many fun things happened but as this is another special edition of the blog things which weren't food/drink will be talked about in another post.
We stayed for the most part at Londontom's parents house and do they know how to treat guests well! We were fed like absolute kings, but as my phone had no battery for most of the weekend I was unable to blog most of the lovely treats, but below is a tiny selection of the fun things we had!

While chilling at a chicken shop after a session at the new Mile End park Dirty Dave Vise picked this corker to drink, I think it gave him that little bit extra so that he could film crazy stunts!

On the Saturday night we were treated to a BBq at the Whittle's! Basically I hit that shit so hard it was like a scene from Rocky!
I helped myself to 3 burgers and in each one I had cheese, grilled veg, cheese and chive dip and tomato sauce. It may look messy and rank but it was AMAZING!

For pudding we had a big plate of Choco mini rolls, which Dirty Dave Vise was all about!

On the Sunday morning before we left Tom's mum cooked a breakfast worthy of Zeus himself! On the table we had scrambled eggs, bacon, parma ham, salami, fried potato's, fried tomato's, cereal, toast, juice, veg sausage rolls and grilled haloumi.

Basically I'm going to do a epic blog of both my birthday and our recent trip to London very soon, however before this I think a special blog post has to be given to the CAT ROOM! This post is just about the room so won't involve food or skating (Don't worry though as the next update will be rammed with all that goodness!).
The cat room is the room which me and Matty stayed in when staying at LondonTom's parents house over the weekend in London (Essex really).
This room is completely dedicated to cats, and Ive literally never seen anything like it, but enough with the chat lets see the evidence!

Epic Update!

Right today has been pretty epic on all fronts, so buckle up its going to be a bumpy ride.

As usual we will start with Bangers.

Sidewalk were up taking photo's and Mr Scott Cherry thought it was his time to shine. Basically he sw 50-50 the massive rail at wasteland INTO THE WATER! Not only is the trick insane but rolling away into toxic wasteland water is a true banger! What makes it even more heroic is the fact he took a good hour or so landing body/face/leg/back first into the putrid water. HERO! Below is one of the many times he spent fishing his board and body out of the water

Right and we'll get onto the Mash because its been a long food day!

First off I went for Tapas at El Coto with my Mum and Dad and basically we weren't messing about. We all got 2 dishes and then some Tomato Bread and Olive bread to share.

Below we have pork medallions and mushrooms in a blue cheese sauce

Then we have fried squid rings with mayo.

We have a tasty dish of beef stew and prawns in a garlic chilli sauce.

Also lovely cheese and aubergine bake thing.

And finally the tomato bread and chicken in chilli and garlic sauce. Alas I did not take a pic of the olive bread.

Now we move onto dinner! After Amy Dover's art show at Electric sheep me, Tom Fone, Steff and Matty headed to the American diner. After a very confusing few minutes we all ended up with a free Butterscotch pecan milkshake, YUM!

I shared my meal with Matty because I was full from lunch. I chose the chicken and guacamole in a tortilla wrap with a side of salad.

One the way out we had a right treat, the lass behind the counter had been to America recently and had brought back some Reeses cereal, and she said she would make a milkshake out of it for free for all four of us. It had the cereal in it, with vanilla icecream, cream, and concentrated peanut butter sauce, drizzled with Reeses sauce! Oh my days it was amazing, the girl who made them was a legend!

Today's 'Bangers and Mash' update is fairly short because of the intense rain.

For Bangers we have Chris Cole lookalike and all round happy guy Heelflip Mark blasting a ollie into the deep end of the bowl a few weeks back.

And for Mash we have a little trip to the Salsa club. Me and Londontom went for a cheeky lunch and we both ordered a veg club sandwich. The picture may not shed the best light onto its taste but trust me it was top notch. Inside we had tomato's, re-fried beans, cheese, blue cheese sauce, lettuce, guacamole, jalapeno's and nachos.

On the side we had some potato wedges with blue cheese sauce, sweet chilli sauce and guacamole.

Right time for a 'Bangers and Mash' update.

First off we have two Bangers, at number 1 we have a little group of charvers making a cheeky bottle fire at the wasteland.

New Style of Blogging!

Right so ive decided to have a little change around on the blog front. As most people know I like food and skateboarding and most of my posts relate to these things, so I've decided to concentrate the blog onto these things. Obviously other exciting events will be appearing but the majority of posts will be about food and skating. Also going to rename the blog to 'Mr Bish and Jackie present Bangers and Mash'! The bangers referring to things in the skating world and the mash relating to glorious food! Matty Smith is to thank for the lovely tagline of Bangers and Mash and Ive got to say I like it, so anyway enough chatter lets get onto the pictures!

Sooo first we have the BANGERS!

The other day a full on battle occurred at the wasteland between about 20 charvers and Ghettoshaun, Peter, Jimbo and Little Will. Here is one of Ghetto's scars.

Also me and Londontom had the same clothes on for the session, cool kids think alike.

And now to MASH!

Hopper hit the session at Kate's party with Chips, Fried Pineapple rings and batter.

I went home the other day so I could have a diabetes test the following morning. This meant I wasn't allowed to eat after 8, so I asked my mum if she could cook up a feast because I usually love to snack at night. As usual my mum came through with the goods and cooked up a roast chicken breast, sage and onion stuffing balls, mini sausages, sweet potato mash, peas cream sauce and broccoli with gravy, RESULT!

Then today I went for some bait with Matty and his flatmate at the American Diner. I ordered the Cheese Dog, which was a hotdog covered in cheese and onions with loads of curly fries on the side. I was so hungry I'd eaten half before I blogged but let me tell you it had a stupid amount of cheese on top. Also I added some mayo and tomato sauce for splash!

Building starts on wasteland manny pad.

The building on the manny pad at wasteland started yesterday when the frame was put down, today it started to properly take shape.

Bags of cement were brought down by Jimmy and Peter.

Loads of rocks made up the nice inside of the pad, so its nice and secure.

After I told Dan I quite fancied being at the seaside since it was hot he made me a nice sandcastle with a flower and spade on top.

On top of this Peter also started work on a mellow nipple which should be rad.

Lush food Ive eaten recently!

Well the main reason for me being in London at the weekend was my mum's birthday celebrations. We went for a lush meal at a Michelin starred Indian restaurant and let me tell it was bloody lush! Below I will take you through the meal, all the dishes were blogged, unfortunately I was so so hunger I forgot to blog the starter before I tucked in, but anyway I took a photo anyway, enjoy!

Before the starter we were given some coconut soup, compliments of the chef, it was a nice start.

Then we have the starter, which I'm afraid was half eaten before I could blog it. Before my attack on it, it was Pigeon, on a potato fritter with various cheeky sauces next to it.

Onto the main meal, and since am a greedy bastard I decided to go for the taster menu, which had a little bit of all the meat menu. So what we had was Dear, Lamb and Pigeon, with various sauces on the side, and in the center it had mildly curried mash potato, basically the main was unbelievable, gone in about 2 minutes!

And then finally onto desert! I had warm chocolate with icecream and panacotta, but I boshed that off in about a minute, so I also shared the taster desert menu with my mum and aunty, this pretty much desert off the menu on, I won't go into each one the picture will show you how high level it was!

All in all one of the best meals of my life. I thought I might aswell live the weekend up so the next day I went to gorment burger kitchen with Adam and Ken after some skating.
I decided to hit up the Kiwi burger (Replaced the beetroot with bacon), which was a burger, relish, mayo, pineapple, tomato, a egg, lettuce, bacon and a side order of chips and 'diet' coke.

In London for me Ma's 60th birthday celebrations, so I thought I would take advantage of my bro living next to loads of mint skate spots at East India. I didn't even skating the proper East India ledges just kept it mellow on the smaller ones nearby.
Anyway my mate Adam took some nice pictures of my exploits so take a gander. Tomorrow I will blog the insane meal we went for, believe me it was totally tits.

Wasteland building restarts.

Sessioned the wasteland pretty hard yesterday in the blistering sun, later on Ghetto turned up with various building supplies and building began on a mini quarter against one of the walls.

Jimbo was stoked.

Kickflip Simon came out of hiding to mix some cement.

Gnarly Shaun and Irish Dan got involved with some Brick laying.

Went to BBQ at Haldane on sat and it was a fun night, before hand Matty made a face on my light.

Most of the Fone family were in attendance.

I have luckily been able to taste some interesting foods recently and I think people should know what they have been.
Well first off my mum just got back from America and she brought many treats back with her.

In poll position we have SPACE FOOD, yes that's right food that spacemen eat! Specifically she brought back cookie and cream flavour icecream space food. This stuff is a big block of what initially tastes like styrofoam but then tastes of lovely icecream, bloody amazing!

Second of all my ma brought the classic US sweet selection of Hershey kisses, Hershey mini bars and mini reeses cupcakes.

Then in Manchester we witnessed a whole hog roast, yum yum yum.

Then finally we have the beast. For a Bruce Campbell movie night we decided to order in a 32 inch pizza from Sunderland. Stupidly I thought that wouldn't be enough so ordered 2. This was a mistake as these were the biggest pizza's Ive ever seen! Even more surprisingly they were really tasty and not just a cheap gimmick. Truly if your have a party order these bad boys because at 22 quid each their a bargain! Feast on them below.

Well its been a long week with various exciting adventures around London and Manchester. I'm work the blog in the opposite way and make a post on the adventures had in Manchester. Next week I'll do a post on my VERY strange time in London, just picture me nothing but orange swim shorts with 20 professional dancers, male and female (And all very good looking) doing handstands around various famous London landmarks...

So I went to see wor lass and we thought we could turn it into a mini skate tour, so 2 days after my arrival Kurt,Jack, Mellon and Steph turned up. And as were filming for Pigs in Wigs the tour was dubbed 'The Swine Flu tour'.

I was told the trip down was pretty intense due to insane rain, Mellon blogged that shit incase the police found the bodies and needed to know the causes of death

Mary's mate Lucy had some kick ass stuff, a Toad doll,

and a cushion with loads of cats on it.

The first night was all about getting drunk so we thought a quick way of doing this would be the 'Century club' and yes yes it was. 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes, that shit fucks you up. That night Kurt managed to get hold of my phone and take a myspace picture of his arse, he's a strange young man

The next day we met some kids and asked them to show us some spots and ended going to one the best spots Ive skated in a while, peep this shit.

All around the area was marble block of various sizes and smooth ground, the session went off.

On the way home Kurt made a friend.

After that it was clearly time to party, and to mine and Kurt's happy little faces a rock club was our decided venue! After alot of booze, me and Kurt got the mosh on while everyone else stood about looking very ashamed that they knew us.

He also helped one of Mary's mates who was in a bit of a pickle. He'd got his card stuck in the cash machine, so Kurt being the Shiney Row gangsta ripped the front of the cash machine off and pulled the card out.

The next day everyone was a bit tender so the session was quite mellow, we got some Breakfast from a greasy spoon and had a mellow skate.

Shit gets real in Manc.

So it was time to leave, but before we did we needed a good group shot, so we decided on a gangsta shot in front of the car, it would of looked sick but being a clumsy floor I manged to fall over as the picture was being taken.

The last bit of fun was seeing the smallest dog in the world in a service station on the way home.

We went on the session today in Consett and it was wet,windy and cold, but the moment we got to 5 bridges it was bright sunshine and warmth, go figure.
Anyway Matty Smith was out and he brought with him some of his patented 'Bish Buster' incase I caused some trouble.

He also had a curious calender.

The cats were out to impress.

Anyway we skated bridges and it was fun, Ben taught Matty how to do colour co-ordinate his board to his T-shirt and shoes.

Ive been eating like a bastard this week and Ive taken a few pictures of the immense bait Ive been putting away.

First we have the lovely 2 dine for 5 pounds range from Sainsbury. I bought Mash, 2 cheesecakes and 2 chicken breast's covered in cheese, bacon and pastry (I added beans for some splash). I boshed it all off except for one cheesecake which I gave to Mellon's lass.

On Friday me and Mary went down to Big Neill's so we had to get our pizza on. We ordered from the best pizza place in town, Sicily's in the Bigg Market. The order went like this 12 inch Cheese pizza for Mary, 16 inch meat feast for me and Neill, 6 tubs of Garlic sauce and a bigish bottle of Coke. Mellon came round later and helped Mary out with her pizza but me and Neill did ours in to the sound of 'Eurotrip'.

And finally on Easter Sunday me and Mary went for some pub food, Mary got the Veggie burger but I thought Ive go big or die trying. I got the mixed grill in this you had 1 egg, 1 pork chop, 1 piece of Gammon, 1 lamb chop, 2 sausages, 1 big piece of black pudding, 1 grilled tomato, 1 slab of beef, fried mushrooms and chips, covered in Stilton sauce. This was my Everest! I needed a nice relaxing walk afterwards to digest this epic meal!

So this week Ive decided I need to start eating a bit healthier, so hopefully I can blog some tasty healthy options for an update next week.

Yesterday me and Ranson wanted skateboarding bad! We were gonna go to 5 bridges but by the time we met up it was pitch black, so instead we decided to try and find some dry spots in town. The usual haunt of the grindy was soaking so in the end we skated a patch of dry in the uni about the size of my front room. In the end though the session was sick and we ended up going to see a horror double bill at the Tyneside, result!

So this week I decided that the cupboards in my room had to go, so me Jake and later Big Neill went to work. The first mistake was not clearly out my room first!
Jake initially tried biting his way to victory.

After a couple hours of me and Jake pounding away we called in Big Neill and his crowbar!

So we finished and the room looked like this.

I decided to clean the room the next day so only one thing was left to do and that was to smash the wood up enough to fit into the bin, Jake happily stepped up to the challenge.
